Provesta is a North West-based property development and investment partner, specialising in long-term social housing leases for UK landlords and investors.
We work with private property owners to source, refurbish, and lease quality residential properties to housing associations and registered providers – securing dependable, long-term income at strong weekly rates, with the day-to-day burden of letting and management taken away.

Who We Are
Provesta was founded in 2025 by Steven Andrews, following two decades as a senior executive in regulated financial services and private equity, and five years building a personal property development portfolio.
Steven saw two things clearly. The first was the scale of unmet demand for quality social housing across the North West – and the long-term, secure leases that housing associations are willing to sign for the right properties. The second was that most landlords and investors lack the time, the contractor relationships, or the housing association contacts to access this market on their own.
Provesta was built to bridge that gap. We bring institutional-grade discipline – due diligence, project management, financial reporting – to a part of the property market that has historically been served by less rigorous operators. What We Deliver
Provesta is a young business, but the model is proven. Our completed projects to date have typically secured 5-year leases with regional housing associations – converting standard 3-bed terraces into 4-bed, 2-bathroom HMOs to approved standards.

Meet Our Founder
Steven Andrews – Managing Director
Steven founded Provesta in 2025 after two distinct chapters: 20 years as a senior executive in regulated financial services and private equity, followed by five years actively developing his own property portfolio. That financial services background – spent inside businesses where every decision had to stand up to compliance, audit, and investor scrutiny – shapes how Provesta operates today. Numbers are conservative. Documentation is thorough. Risk is named, not hidden. What pulled Steven into property full-time was a recognition that few operators were applying that same discipline to the social housing lease market – a sector with strong, long-term demand from registered providers and councils, but one that often felt opaque or amateurish to investors looking in. Provesta exists to bring institutional rigour to an opportunity that genuinely deserves it. Outside of Provesta, Steven is based in Manchester with his partner. Originally from Southport, he is a former England Over-40s Masters field hockey international, representing England at two European Championships and as part of the squad that won the Over-40s Masters World Cup in 2022. He played at the top level of the English Premier Hockey League for many years. That competitive sporting background isn’t incidental – it’s the reason the same level of preparation, structure, and accountability that wins international tournaments is built into how Provesta runs every project.
